Which Espresso Machine should I get? Delonghi EC155 or Cuisinart EM-100?
I’m a college kid so I’m not looking for a crazy machine. I just want something I can make decent espresso and lattes with in my apartment. I’ve used both machines but I hear both of them have tendencies to break in a few cases and the Delonghi has half a star more than the Cuisinart on Amazon…
Definitely get the Cuisinart EM-100, I have had it for a couple months now and it still works great. It makes a double shot, single shot, and it also allows you to use the espresso pods which is super awesome if your in a rush, and it’s easy clean up, than cleaning out wet espresso grinds. It’s easy to clean up, the pump steamer works in seconds, and its super strong. It also has the option to just release hot water so you can like make tea if your into that. The Cuisinart also comes with a metal pitcher, and i’m not sure if the Delonghi has one, but it is pretty much vital if you want frothy milk. A trick I use, you never want to burn your milk, so put your hand on the bottom of the pitcher when your steaming it, and when it is too hot to touch turn it off, or you will have burnt milk. It works instead of having to buy a thermometer. Hope you make good coffee
