what means 15-bar pump system in a espresso maker?
I’m planning to buy an espresso maker and I’m not sure what 15 bar pump means, also if you guys can recommend any good brand would me good too .

Espresso can be made with any amount of pressure from 9-bar or higher. Having a bigger number doesn’t mean it’s a good machine, but good machines will be able to produce more pressure. The main reason you want more pressure is so the water can be forced through a finer grind of beans. This allows more surface area & better flavor extraction.
Actually the two most common pump types are rotary vane pump (Rotary) & vibratory pump. Rotary is better, but only available on very expensive commercial espresso machine, the vibe pump is on high end home & lower end commercial machines. If it doesn’t have one of these methods (like steam driven), it will be a low end machine with more iffy taste consistency.
If you’re looking for under $200, I’d just get a Moka pot as it will make pretty good espresso without as much technical knowledge needed. If you want really good “true” espresso, you not only have to consider the machine, buy also a quality grinder (inconsistency in the grind causes problems in the shot). I use a Rancillio Silvia with a Rocky grinder & my espressos are consistently good.
